Four ways we build readiness

The HAT Rescue Ready Initiative is HAT Initiative’s community lifesaving program designed to expand access to CPR, AED, First Aid and emergency-preparedness education.

CPR & AED / First Aid

Our CPR and AED training helps participants develop the confidence and practical skills needed to recognize an emergency, activate emergency medical services, perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Community Safety Programs

HAT Initiative believes lifesaving knowledge should be accessible throughout the community. Our community safety programs bring practical emergency preparedness and safety education directly to the people and organizations that need it.

Confined Space Safety

Understand entry hazards, hazard assessment, controls, communication protocols and emergency procedures before anyone goes in.

Fall Protection

Falls are an important workplace hazard, particularly in construction, maintenance, warehousing, industrial operations and other environments where employees work at elevation.

Safety skills shouldn't stop at the workplace

From cardiac emergencies to hazards at height, our programs give people the
practical skills to act - not just watch.

Why it matters

Confidence is the skill that closes the gap between knowing and doing.

“When more people know what to do in an emergency, the entire community becomes stronger.”
